The first weekend of the Festive RIDE season resulted in 2 Suspended Drivers, 1 Possession of Narcotics and 4 Highway traffic act Charges being laid. Officers checked 416 vehicles at 7 different locations and issued 4-12 hours Suspension. Charged with driving under suspension contrary to section 53 of the Ontario Highway Traffic Act are, Anthony Luigi BRUNETTA age 39 of 23 Hiedi Cr. Aweres twp, Joseph Frank FASCINA age 36 of 118 Breton RD Sault Ste Marie. Charged with possession of approximately 16 gm’s of Cannabis contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act is Nicholas Stephen ROLLIE age 19 of 17 Pumpkin Point Rd. The FESTIVE RIDE program of intensive anti Drinking and Driving initiatives will run through to January 2nd.

Stolen MSV

A Black Wild Cat Long Track MSV was stolen from the yard at 307 Watsons Rd in MacDonald Twp. Sometime between November 26-28th. The machine has no engine and was taken away in a pickup truck.
