IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED (Garden River First Nation, ON) – On December 15, 2012 at approximately 1:30 am OPP on patrol eastbound on Highway 17 observed a vehicle weaving on the roadway and driving below the speed limit.

IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED

(Garden River First Nation, ON) – On December 15, 2012 at approximately 1:30 am OPP on patrol eastbound on Highway 17 observed a vehicle weaving on the roadway and driving below the speed limit.

The vehicle was stopped and as a result of further investigation twenty-two year old Kale Robert FRASER of Lakeside Drive, St. Joseph Township was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear in Sault Ste. Marie Provincial Court on January 15, 2012.

(Sault Ste. Marie, ON) - The Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police Auxiliary Unit ran its’ 7th annual Stuff-A-Cruiser event at Rome’s Independent Grocer this past Saturday in support of the local soup kitchen.

Once again, this community shared its generosity in donating food items and cash donations.
