DRIVER FALLS ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL Early Saturday morning at 5:30, the driver of a northbound SUV pulling a boat and trailer fell asleep at the wheel and ran off the road. The trailer became entangled in the guide rail and flipped over.

Early Saturday morning at 5:30, the driver of a northbound SUV pulling a boat and trailer fell asleep at the wheel and ran off the road. The trailer became entangled in the guide rail and flipped over. The 16 foot aluminium boat became dislodged and skidded down the highway just south of Montreal River. The vehicle was not damaged but the trailer was destroyed. No charges have been laid.

MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT
At 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, the driver of a Harley Davidson Motorcycle was injured after he lost control of the bike. He was rushed to Sault Area Hospitals with leg injuries. No charges have been laid.

TRUCK-MOOSE COLLISION
A vehicle hit a moose on Pineshores Road in Goulais River at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. A young bull moose was killed but the driver of the pick-up was not injured.
