VEHICLES DAMAGED AT LOCAL SALVAGE YARD

(WAWA, ON.) – On May 28, 2011 at 4:15pm the owner of a local auto parts facility located on Tremblay Road just north of Wawa reported that the secured property had been entered sometime during the day by person(s) unknown. A Skidder located on the property had been used to damage several vehicles and a travel trailer within the compound.

Although these vehicles and trailer are only used for parts, the severe damage caused in this incident prevents many of the parts from being used and therefore the loss is estimated at several thousand dollars. Anyone with any information that may lead to the arrest of those responsible for this crime is asked to call The OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.
