DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR CHILDREN ARE ?
Sault Ste Marie, Ont.,

Being out with dad’s car in the middle of the night is going to cost one 16-year-old. Especially since dad didn’t know he had the car.

On Saturday morning at about 4:00 a.m. officers with the Sault Ste Marie Detachment stopped a vehicle near the east city limits.

The driver appeared to be a bit young and he was unable to produce a licence. The officers quickly were able to determine that the youth had his dad’s car and dad didn’t know that the car was gone.

He was given a $300.00 ticket for driving with no licence and taken home. His father will decide if he should be charged under the Criminal Code with Take Auto Without Owners Consent.
