DRIVER CHARGED IN TRACTOR TRAILER ROLLOVER (Garden River First Nation, ON) – The westbound lane of Highway 17 east at the City limits was closed for several hours yesterday due to a motor vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer.

DRIVER CHARGED IN TRACTOR TRAILER ROLLOVER
(Garden River First Nation, ON) – The westbound lane of Highway 17 east at the City limits was closed for several hours yesterday due to a motor vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer. A tractor trailer was westbound on Highway 17 when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled onto the shoulder of the highway.
Both the driver and passenger received were transported to Sault Area Hospital with minor injuries. The tractor trailer unit was demolished.
The driver, 32 year old Jeyam Kanesamoorthy of Brampton, Ontario was charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
