COTTAGES BROKEN INTO (Kars Twp., ON) Two Break In’s were reported on Saturday, the 13th Sept. 2008 to cottages located in the 2000 block of Four Seasons Drive in Goulais River. Culprits gained entry to both by kicking in the front doors.

(Kars Twp., ON) Two Break In’s were reported on Saturday, the 13th Sept. 2008 to cottages located in the 2000 block of Four Seasons Drive in Goulais River.

Culprits gained entry to both by kicking in the front doors.

Stolen items included a 12 gauge shotgun, pellet gun, and bow and Television.

DRIVING TOO FAST CAN REALLY SLOW YOU DOWN


(Garden River, ON) A 1998 Silver Audi traveling eastbound on Highway 17 on the four lanes was clocked at a speed of 145 km/hr in a 90 km/hr zone by an O.P.P. officer conducting radar patrol at 5:30 pm yesterday evening.

Charged with Street Racing under the Highway Traffic Act is 18 year old Edwin Justin PELLEY of Williamswood, Nova Scotia.

Approximately one person a day is killed in collisions involving speeding and loss of control. If you are charged for speeding at 50 km/hr over the speed limit, Police will suspend your license and impound your vehicle at the roadside.
