There is an excellent exercise that everyone can do to help themselves, and each other, in this fight against crime. Merely take the “pointer” finger on either hand and fully extend the finger in a pointing manner. Take the other hand and reach for the telephone. Using the extended “pointer” finger, dial the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or dial Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222 TIPS(8477). By doing this exercise on a regular basis you may make your home and neighbourhood a safer place to live, and in most circumstances you probably don’t even have to work up a sweat.
