Ontario Provincial Police say they have concluded their investigation on Aberdeen Street in Chapleau.

Ontario Provincial Police are asking the public to stay away from a Chapleau neighbourhood Saturday.

They were called to a disturbance at a residence in the community at around 3 a.m.

As of late Saturday morning, an increased police presence remains in the area of Aberdeen street.

“Although there is no threat to public safety, motorists and residents are urged to avoid the area to allow police to safely carry out their duties,” said OPP in a news release.

Police say they’ll provide more information when it becomes available.
