QUIET WEEK
It was a quiet night for the O.P.P. in the Sault area. In fact, it has been a quiet week with no accidents or other serious incidents to report.

FINALLY SOME SNOW-FINALLY SOME PATROLS!!
Sault Ste Marie, Ont.,

Mother nature has finally cooperated and Algoma District has snow!!
Starting this weekend and into next week, the Sault Ste Marie OPP will be out on their snow machine patrols.

Until the trails officially open, the OPP will concentrate their patrols in and around the areas off the trails, where the snow machines are running.

Again this year, Sault Ste Marie OPP will run their snow machine patrols in conjunction with the Sault Ste Marie City Police and members of the S.T.O.P. program.

Already this year, in other parts of the province, we have heard of unnecessary deaths and injuries of people on snow machines because of carelessness and drinking and driving.

Help keep Sault Ste Marie and Algoma district one of the safest places to ride. Think before you ride and
