The O.P.P. had a quiet night last night. There was only one arrest for assault which was of a minor nature with no injuries.

On May 22, officers from the East Algoma Thessalon Detachment of the O.P.P. were dispatched to Gordon Lake in Johnson Township where a worker had been injured on the job. While working under a motor home, Terri Jones, age 47, of Gordon Lake Road, was injured when the motor home shifted and pinned him in the waist area. The Johnson Township Fire Department responded and was able to extract Jones who was taken to Sault Area Hospitals with serious hip injuries.
