The Sault detachment of the O.P.P. has had a quiet twenty-four hour period, however, police advise that, due to the considerable amount of rain we have been receiving, some secondary roads are beginning to deteriorate.

Motorists should be aware in particular of Watson's Road, just southeast of Echo Bay. Due to the heavy rain, a couple of potholes that police say could be described as sinkholes have opened up. Motorists should use extreme caution when travelling this road as well as all secondary roads in the area.
