ACCIDENT SENDS TWO TO HOSPITAL (Echo Bay, Ont) Yesterday morning at 10:27, a minivan being operated by 53-year-old Kong-Chan Pan of Toronto left Highway 17 in the Echo Bay area. Pan and two other residents of Toronto received minor injuries.

Yesterday morning at 10:27, a minivan being operated by 53-year-old Kong-Chan Pan of Toronto left Highway 17 in the Echo Bay area. Pan and two other residents of Toronto received minor injuries. Pan was subsequently charged with failing to drive in a marked lane.


LIQUOR VIOLATIONS
(Goulais River)

Festivities at the annual, Goulais River Days at Captain Tilley Park, resulted in several liquor violations. Four persons were handed tickets for having open liquor outside the designated areas. One person was charged with consuming liquor under the age of 19 and one person was charged under the Trespass To Property act after he re-entered the grounds after having been removed for being under 19 years of age.

One positive note; there was none charged with drinking and driving and no suspensions were handed out.
