Over the past couple of weeks, the O.P.P. have received many complaints regarding youths out late at night. This has led to noise disturbances, thefts and minor mischief.

Over the past couple of weeks, the O.P.P. have received many complaints regarding youths out late at night. This has led to noise disturbances, thefts and minor mischief. Under the Child and Family Services Act, there is a curfew from midnight to 6:00 a.m. If a child under 16 years is in a public place without a person over 18 years (authorized by the parents), the police may apprehend him/her without a warrant and return to the parents or a place of safety.
