ONE MORE FOUND TO BE OVER

Another Sault Ste Marie resident will be finding other means of transportation after he was charged with drinking and driving.

Yesterday at about 1:45 p.m. an officer from the Sault OPP detachment checked a vehicle on Trunk Road in Sault Ste Marie. The driver showed signs that he had been drinking and a roadside test confirmed the officer’s suspicion.

The man was returned to the Sault Ste Marie OPP detachment where further testing showed the man to be over the legal limit to be driving.

Fifty five (55) year old Lyle PORTER, of 1223 Trunk Road in Sault Ste Marie, has been charged with one count of Driving While Over the Legal Limit of .08. He has been asked to come to court in December.
