FATAL ACCIDENT VICTIM IDENTIFIED
Thessalon First Nation
Early this morning, at 7:00, a single motor vehicle accident claimed the life of 20-year-old Michael Boulrice of Thessalon First Nation. He was transported to hospital in Thessalon where he succumbed to his injuries.
The preliminary investigation has revealed the vehicle was travelling south on the Reserve Road, Thessalon, when it appears to have gone out of control and struck the east ditch. Police have concluded that Boulrice was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle that rolled over onto him.
East Algoma O.P.P. is investigating. A post mortem examination will be held in the Sault tomorrow.
