Single Motor Vehicle Roll In Fisher Township Over Leads to Charges

Officer’s from the Sault Ste. Marie detachment investigated a single motor vehicle collision north of the Sault yesterday at approximately 5:30 p.m. The female driver of a grey Oldsmobile was traveling south bound on Highway 17, approximately 3 kilometers south of Pancake Bay Provincial Park when she lost control of her car and rolled her vehicle, ending up in the west side ditch area. Minor injuries were reported in the collision by the driver. Cheryl Kwissiwa, age 45 of Sault Ste. Marie has been charged with Fail to drive in Marked Lane under the Highway Traffic Act and Operate Motor Vehicle with No Insurance under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.
