DRUG POSSESSION CHARGE LAID
(WAWA, ON) – On Wednesday January 30, 2013 as a result of an anonymous tip the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wawa Detachment initiated a traffic stop on Toronto Ave in Wawa. A postal package was seized and the passenger was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Schedule II Cannabis Marihuana. Charged is 44-year-old Sheila THAYER of Wawa. The accused is scheduled to appear in Criminal Court in Wawa in March. OPP seized just over 131 grams of Marihuana during this investigation.
