TWO CHARGED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP
(Elliot Lake, Ontario) –February 28th, 2012 at approximately 11:38 pm, officers of the East Algoma OPP conducted a traffic stop on Highway 108.
Through investigation officers located in the vehicle and on the suspects oxycotin pills and cannabis.
Charged is the passenger Michael FERRIGAN (25) of Elliot Lake. He is charged with the following:
- Possession for the Purpose – other drugs
- Possession of Cannabis – under 30 grams
Also charged is the driver Robert James NORTON (59) of Elliot Lake. He is charged with the following:
- Possession of Cannabis – under 30 grams
- Possession for the Purpose – other drugs
- Breach of Probation
Both above persons are scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on May 1, 2012.
