Vulnerable Properties Broken into

(Plummer Additional Township, (Bruce Mines), Ont.)

Properties that were left unattended were the target of thieves and break-ins.
Four Waltonen Rd properties were entered sometime between the 11 and 25 March 2007. The unknown culprits forced their way into the homes and storage shed at one residence to remove a substantial amount of furnishings and tools.
Other residences were broken into but nothing appears to have been taken.

Some forensic evidence was left at the scene but the Police have not identified any suspects as of yet.

East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police are asking residents to be vigilant in locking up their valuables. They are also asking that when people see something suspicious in the neighbourhood to call Police with the information sooner rather than later. This could lead to the suspects being apprehended in the act.
Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
