LOCK YOUR VEHICLES!!!
(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – The East Algoma OPP is currently investigating several theft and mischief to vehicles in the Elliot Lake area.
During the evening of November 13, 2012 and the early hours of November 14, 2012 unknown person(s) entered several unlocked vehicles in the area of Hard Rd, Gatenby Place and Smith Place. Several items were taken such as a purse, a satellite radio, one FM Transmitter, bank cards, loose change and several CD’s.
Also on Axmith Avenue, unknown person(s) accessed an unlocked vehicle and poured syrup on the driver seat.
BREAK ENTER AND THEFT DURING THE DAY
(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – November 14, 2012 the East Algoma OPP received a call to attend a residence on Paris Drive regarding a possible break enter and theft.
Police attended the residence and learned from the home owners that something between 8:30 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. unknown persons gained access to the lock residence by kicking a door. Once in the residence the suspect(s) searched the residence and reported missing was a laptop, a buck knife and approximately $100.00 of loose change.
