AND AGAIN….HERE IS WHAT ELSE POLICE FIND WHEN WE RUN RADAR PATOLS

Heyden, Ont.,

An officer with the OPP Traffic and Marine Unit, out of the Sault Ste Marie, once again provides another example on the benefits of conducting traffic enforcement.

Last night at about 10: 30 p.m. the officer was running radar on Hwy 17 in Heyden. He pulled a car over for a traffic violation and discovered that the driver was wanted by Sault Ste Marie OPP.

It turns out that there was a warrant for the arrest of the driver, charging him with assault on a female partner back in July of this year. The thirty six year old Heyden resident was taken into custody and released later on in the evening. He will appear in court on December 11, 2006 to answer to the charge.
