VEHICLE DESTROYED BY FIRE
(Macdonald Twp., ON) – OPP and Echo Bay Fire Department were called to the scene of a vehicle fire yesterday evening at 10:00 pm on Highway 17 East near Watson’s Road. A 1997 Chevrolet truck was travelling westbound when it caught fire and was completely destroyed. All occupants of the vehicle escaped uninjured. The cause of the fire is not determined.

RESIDENCE DESTROYED BY FIRE - NO INJURIES REPORTED
(Laird Twp., ON) – OPP and the Echo Bay Fire Department are currently on scene of a house fire in the 800 block of Pumpkin Point Road in Laird Township. A mother had left the residence with her three small children earlier this morning. A 911 call was received from a family member living next door at 7:50 am who saw flames coming out the top of the high-rise bungalow. No one was injured, however all the contents of the residence have been destroyed. The investigation is continuing.
