MacDonald Twp Man Arrested for Domestic Assault
Shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Monday the 29th of December Sault Ste Marie OPP investigated a complaint of domestic assault that occurred in MacDonald Township. The incident involved choking , threats to burn down the family home and threats of death. Charged with Assault , Uttering threats to cause death, uttering threats to cause property damage and Mischief to property is a 43 year old MacDonald Township man. He will appear in bail court Tuesday morning.
Winter Weather Continues to result in Crashes
Sault Ste Marie OPP investigated three minor motor vehicle collision which occurred as a result of Mondays winter storm. The OPP are asking all drivers to simply slow down as almost all winter weather related collisions are a direct result of drivers failing to slow down and drive according to the road and weather conditions.
