ILLEGAL HUNTING??

Sault Ste Mare OPP is assisting the Ministry of Natural Resources in an investigation of possible illegal moose hunting in the Ranger Lake area.
O.P.P. officers on patrol in the Ranger Lake area located the remains of a fresh moose kill near the side of the road. Ministry of Natural Resources Conservation Officers were notified of the find.
The O.P.P. assists the Ministry of Natural Resources in their annual "Moose Watch" program as a joint inter-ministry effort to help protect Ontario's natural resources.
The circumstances surrounding this find are not yet known. If anyone has information on how or why this moose was killed, the O.P.P. or the M.N.R. would appreciate any information.
