FEMALE SENT TO HOSPITAL AFTER BEING RUN OVER BY SNOW MACHINE (Blind River, ON.) – On January 23, 2011 at 2:00 a.m. OPP received a call that a female had fallen off a snow machine then was run over another.
FEMALE SENT TO HOSPITAL AFTER BEING RUN OVER BY SNOW MACHINE
(Blind River, ON.) – On January 23, 2011 at 2:00 a.m. OPP received a call that a female had fallen off a snow machine then was run over another. Officers attended with ambulance and learned that a group of friends were on Lake Matinenda north of Blind River heading to another lake when passenger, 21 year old Chelsea AUSTIN of Blind River fell off the rear of the snow machine she was riding on. AUSTIN was then run over by another snow machine that was following behind.

AUSTIN was transported to the Blind River District Hospital with major non-life threatening injuries and was later transported to Sudbury general hospital for further treatment of her injuries. No charges have been laid and this collision is still under investigation.
