THEFT OF GOLF CLUBS
(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – Police are currently investigating a theft of golf clubs.
On Saturday, June 26, 2010 the victim reports parking his vehicle in his driveway on Lisbon Rd after coming home from shopping. The trunk of the car was left open and sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. unknown persons removed a set of Wilson Pro Staff clubs with a golf bag. Total value of theft is approximately $500.00.
DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE
(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – On June 28, 2010 at approximately 11:03 p.m. police conducted a traffic stop on Westhill Road in Elliot Lake. The officer spoke with the driver and through investigation the driver was charged.
Charged with Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content is William Douglas ASTLEY (41) of Elliot Lake.
ASTLEY is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on August 10, 2010.
