DRIVER CHARGED IN MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION
(Havilland Twp., ON) – OPP along with the Goulais River First Response responded to a single motor vehicle rollover on Highway 17 North near the Havilland causeway at 2:30 am this morning.
Highway 17 was closed for approximately 2 hours.
The vehicle was demolished and the driver was transported to hospital by ambulance with non life threatening injuries.
The driver, 30 year old Steve BERNIER of Kapuskasing, Ontario was charged with one count of Operation of a Motor Vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear for court on 26th April, 2010.
