YOUNG CYCLIST RIDES INTO SIDE OF MOVING CAR

A five year old boy was examined and released from Sault and Area Hospital last night after he rode his bike into the side of a moving vehicle

Sault Ste Marie OPP investigated the collision on the Batchawana First Nation last night. At about 6:30 p.m., the boy was riding his bike eastbound on Nebenaigoching Street. A car was traveling at a slow speed in the opposite direction on the same street

As the car was passing the boy, he accidentally rode his bike into the side of the car. The boy advised all witnesses that he was not hurt but he was taken to Sault and Area Hospital by a parent. He was examined and released from the hospital later that evening.

No charges have been laid in the collision
