THREE CAMPS BROKEN INTO NORTH OF THE CITY

(Shields Twp., ON) - Two camps on Station Road in Shields Township were entered within the last the last week.

Damage was done to both camps but nothing was taken.

(Daumont Twp., ON) - A camp was entered Vixen Lake. Stolen items included a socket set, knives, garbage can, DVD player and a quantity of alcohol.

The break in occurred within the past week.

MISCHIEF TO FISHING NETS

(Fenwick Twp., ON) - Fishing nets used by a local fisherman on Parisienne Ile were destroyed over the weekend.

The owner had left four fishing nets piled neatly in a steal box on the dock on the south end of Parisienne Ile on Lake Superior between the 1st and the 3rd of October.

Upon his return to the dock on the 3rd October the owner observed the nets cut up in small pieces.

The cost of the damage is estimated at $600.00.

This is the second incident of this kind.

On August 11th, 2009 the same fisherman had returned to the dock area to find his nets burned, completely destroying them.
