VERBAL DISAGREEMENT NETS SEVERAL CHARGES FOR LOCAL MALE
(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – September 9th, 2012 at approximately 8:05 p.m. the East Algoma OPP received a call to attend the Hillside Drive Plaza in Elliot Lake regarding a large group of youth fighting.
Police arrived on scene and spoke with witnesses. Officers learned that the accused was allegedly having a verbal disagreement with a group of youth when a male driving by noted a female on the ground. He attended to check on the female when he was allegedly confronted and assaulted by the accused.
Charged with the following is Tyler DAVIDGE (19) of Elliot Lake.
- Carrying concealed weapon
- Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Assault
- Fail to Comply with Undertaking
The accused remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing in Sault Ste Marie.
