AREN’T YOU A SHINNING EXAMPLE OF DRIVING EXCELLENCE!!!

(Echo Bay, Ont.) A driving instructor and her student had to duck for cover and shake their head in disbelief as a transport hit drove into construction cones yesterday.

At about 4:15 p.m. yesterday the student was traveling through the construction zone on the four lane section of Hwy 17 in Echo Bay. The right lane of the highway was closed and there were four foot traffic cones blocking the lane. The transport passed the car on the right, through the cones. Four of the large cones flew off their supports into the side of the car.

No one was injured but there was minor damage to the driving instructing vehicle. Kind of makes you wonder who should be driving the transport and who should take a turn in the driving school car!!
