Ontario Provincial Police and the Batchawana Fire Department responded to a tractor trailer fire on Highway 17 near Montreal River late Saturday afternoon.
The truck, which was hauling a load of lumber at the time of the fire, became engulfed in flames, the Sault Ste. Marie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police stated in a news release.
No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
