A woman has been charged with assault in Wawa.
Members of the Superior East detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report that an assault has occurred on Aug. 25 at 6:30 p.m.
The incident took place on Algoma Street in Wawa.
Brenda Davis, 56 years of age from Wawa was arrested and charged with assault and mischief under $5,000.
She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 12.
