Retraction issued in regards to OPP release for Elliot On July 25th
(Elliot Lake, Ontario) On July 25th, 2007 members of the East Algoma OPP attended a residence on Spruce Avenue regarding a landlord tenant dispute.
It was earlier reported that the three, Travis HACHEY (19), George Michael LENDAK (23) and Jim LAWRENCE (55) had been charged.
In fact, the three have not been charged with any Criminal Code offences. All three were released the next morning.
The East Algoma OPP apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
