DRIVER SUCCOMBS TO INJURIES FROM COLLISION
(Thessalon, ON.) On August 12, 2009 police reported a two vehicle collision on Highway 17 west of Thessalon which caused the highway to be closed and one of the drivers being airlifted to Toronto.
On August 14 one of the vehicle drivers, James Arthur HIBBERT died at hospital as a result of injuries sustained from the collision. The other driver, Jean-Benoit FAUCHER who was airlifted to Toronto underwent surgery and remains in critical condition.
