SMUGGLED DRUGS SEIZED – COCHRANE (Cochrane, ON) – On February 1st, 2006, members from the Ontario Provincial Police, Cochrane detachment apprehended a passenger aboard the Ontario Northland train destined for Moosonee.

(Cochrane, ON) – On February 1st, 2006, members from the Ontario Provincial Police, Cochrane detachment apprehended a passenger aboard the Ontario Northland train destined for Moosonee. The police investigation revealed the accused to be in possession a sizeable quantity of high-grade cannabis marihuana. The approximate street value of the controlled substances seized is $2,400.00. The accused was released to attend court on April 3rd, 2006, in Cochrane Ontario Court.

Charges:Possess Controlled Substance for the purpose of trafficking S. 5(2) of the Controlled Substances Act

Local Man Has Difficulty Understanding Court Orders

A Sault Ste Marie man will appear in bail court this morning after being caught associating with a woman against the wishes of a local judge.

Last night at about 11:30 p.m. officers with the Sault Ste Marie Detachment checked the pair on Hwy 17 near the East Husky Station in Sault Ste Marie. There is an existing criminal court order that prohibits the man from associating with the woman.

Thirty year old Richard Gabrylewicz of Carufel Avenue in Sault Ste Marie will appear in bail court this morning to answer to one charge of Breach of a Recognizance.
