Break and enter in Goulais River
On the 11th of July 2006 OPP received a call regarding a break and enter at a residence in the 600-block area of Goulais Bay Road.
The break and enter occurred sometime overnight on the 8th of July 2006.
The residents arrived home to find that half of their clothes were taken valued at approximately $600.

Assault charges laid against Goulais River man
Yesterday, officers from the Sault Ste. Marie detachment investigated a report of an assault stemming from an incident which occurred on the 8th of July 2006.
A male victim was allegedly hit over the head with a tire iron and received treatment at the Sault Area Hospital for his injury.
A 45-year-old male of Goulais River now faces an assault with a weapon charge against him.
He will appear in court in mid August.
