HIGHWAY CLOSED AT MASSEY Highway 17 at the Town of Massey was re-opened this afternoon at 6:30 after an injury motor vehicle collision. An air ambulance was called to take the most seriously injured to hospital.

Highway 17 at the Town of Massey was re-opened this afternoon at 6:30 after an injury motor vehicle collision.

An air ambulance was called to take the most seriously injured to hospital. One person has suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries while a second person has been less seriously injured. There was a detour so delays were minimal.


DRIVER CHARGED WITH NUMEROUS PROVINCIAL OFFENCES
(Bruce Mines, Ontario)

Yesterday at approximately 8:30 pm the East Algoma – Thessalon OPP was on patrol west of Bruce Mines, Ontario. A check of a motor vehicle revealed that the licence plate attached did not correspond with the car it was on.

The car was stopped at Boundary Road, west of Bruce Mines and the driver revealed that he was not licenced to drive.

Daniel Fabien Grahovac , age 36 of Mnjikaning First Nation, has been charged with: operating a motor vehicle without insurance, driving while under suspension, use plates not authorized for vehicle, and use altered validation

Grahovac is scheduled to appear in Thessalon Court on September 20, 2004.
