WALLET STOLEN FROM VEHICLE (Elliot Lake, Ont.) Officers of the East Algoma OPP are currently investigating an incident of theft. The victim reports attending Angel Lake on July 8th, 2008 for an evening of fishing.

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) Officers of the East Algoma OPP are currently investigating an incident of theft.

The victim reports attending Angel Lake on July 8th, 2008 for an evening of fishing. Once on the lake, the victim realized his vehicle was not locked. The complainant returned to his vehicle and noticed his wallet was missing. The theft occurred sometime between 8:00 p.m. and 10:27 p.m.

The wallet contained identification cards, documents and other banking cards.

Anyone with information regarding the above theft is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

SHOPLIFTING IS A CRIME…… AND A COSTLY ONE TO CONSUMERS!

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) July 9th, 2008 police were called to attend a local grocery store in Elliot Lake regarding a possible shoplifting incident.

On scene police learned that the suspect had allegedly hidden several items in the cart and left the store without paying.

Charged with Theft Under is Julie Kathleen CLANCY (43) of Elliot Lake. CLANCY is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on September 2, 2008.
