ALTERCATION LEADS TO SEVERAL CHARGES FOR A LOCAL MALE
(Elliot Lake, Ontario) –On June 29, 2010 at approximately 8:28 p.m. police were called to attend Simpson Rd in Elliot Lake regarding a motor vehicle collision. Located on Simpson is the Westview Campground.
On scene police learned that the subject had attended the area and allegedly was putting items in a dumpster. A male approached the subject stating that there would be no more room in the dumpster if the subject put all the items in the dumpster. At this time the subject allegedly assaulted two males and left the scene.
Police located Robert LARONDE (57) of Elliot Lake and charged him with the following:
Assault X2
Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
LARONDE is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on August 10, 2010.
