SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION--MINOR INJURIES
Heyden, Ont.,

A single vehicle accident yesterday at about 12:30 p.m. sent one woman to hospital with minor injuries.

Sault Ste Marie OPP were called to the top of Mile Hill on Hwy 17 just north of Heyden after receiving a report of a car striking a rock face.

Investigation has revealed that the driver of a southbound car was coming up the mile hill in the driving lane. She started to pass another southbound vehicle. She lost control in the slush, spun around on the highway and slid into a rock cut.

42 year old Mary Particelli of Goulais River was treated at the hospital for minor injuries. The vehicle she was driving was severely damaged. No charges were laid in this incident.
