TWO ATTEMPTED BREAK AND ENTERS
(Laird Twp, Ont.) Early this morning officers with the Sault Ste Marie OPP detachment were called to a home on Government Road in Laird Township after the home owner heard someone in the garage.
At about 1:15 a.m. this morning officers were called to the home located on Government Road between Reid’s Road and Rydall Mill Road. The owner heard the sound of glass breaking and discovered that someone had entered the garage. Several items had been moved about the garage but at this time it appears nothing has been taken. No suspects were located in the area.
The second attempt break and enter was reported at about 7:30 a.m. this morning. Police are on the scene of an attempt break and enter into the Eagles Hall on Trout Lake Road in Heyden. At this time it doesn’t appear that the thieves were successful in getting into the hall.
