MOOSE DETECTION SOLAR PANELS STOLEN (Fenwick Twp., ON) – Five solar panels were reported stolen to OPP yesterday from the moose detection system located on Highway 17 at the bottom of the Mile Hill area.

(Fenwick Twp., ON) – Five solar panels were reported stolen to OPP yesterday from the moose detection system located on Highway 17 at the bottom of the Mile Hill area. The panels were held onto a bracket by two screws and a half-inch power cable. The cable was cut and the screws undone. The size of the panels is two feet by one foot, silver with an aluminum border. They are worth $300.00 each. These panels are part of a unique system put in place for the safety of travelling motorists.
