Impaired driving charge

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – On November 8, 2011 the East Algoma OPP received information regarding a possible impaired driver.

While on general patrol, at approximately 10:41 p.m. officers located the vehicle on highway 108 and conducted a traffic stop.

Through investigation the driver was charged.

Charged with the following is Thomas NEUFELD (34) of Kingsville, Ontario.

Impaired Operation
Exceed 80 Milligrams

The accused is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on December 6, 2011.

Break and enter to non-profit housing office

(WAWA, ON) On Tuesday November 8th, 2011 the Ontario Provincial Police Superior East Wawa Detachment were called to the office for a non-profit housing complex in the town of Wawa. The office had been entered and an undisclosed amount of money was taken. The break in occurred sometime between November 4th and November 8th.
