OPP RESPOND TO SEVERAL ALARMS DUE TO WEATHER (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) – As a result of high winds over the past 24 hours OPP have responded to several intrusion alarms at both residences and businesses that were false alarms.

(Sault Ste. Marie, ON) – As a result of high winds over the past 24 hours OPP have responded to several intrusion alarms at both residences and businesses that were false alarms. There have been five reports to OPP, both East and North of the City of fallen trees either obstructing the roadway or power lines. Algoma Power was called to assist. OPP remind motorists to pay attention for potential sudden hazards while driving on area highways and roadways.

BREAK AND ENTER TO RESIDENCE
(Laird Twp., ON) – A break in to a residence in the 900 block of Bar River Road in Laird Township was reported to OPP yesterday. The break in occurred between the 25 and 26 of October. The front carport door was kicked in. Stolen items included a 22 inch flat screen computer and a 50 inch flat screen Panasonic television.
