FIREARMS TAKEN IN BREAK AND ENTER

(St. Joseph Township, Ontario) On September 2, 2007 at approximately 2:00 a.m. a break and enter was discovered at a residence on Humes Road on St. Joseph Island, Ontario.

The break and enter occurred sometime between Friday August 31, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. and Saturday September 1, 2007 at 2:00 a.m.

Three firearms were stolen in the break and enter. They include two rifles and one shotgun.

INJURIES SUSTAINED IN ASSAULT

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) On Friday August 31, 2007 after 10:00 p.m. the East Algoma Elliot Lake OPP were contacted regarding an assault that occurred near Spruce Beach, Elliot Lake, Ontario.

The male victim was attacked while riding his bicycle along the trail and sustained facial injuries.
