TRAFFIC STOPS NETS SEVERAL CHARGES FOR TWO LOCAL MALES (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – February 12, 2010 at 1:50 p.m. while on patrol an officer of the East Algoma OPP conducted a traffic stop on Ontario Avenue.

Speeding Vehicle Results in Arrest (Garden River FN. ON) On the 13th of February at approximately 8:10 p.m.

THEFT OF PSP UNITS (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – The East Algoma OPP is currently investigating a theft at a store in the Algo Centre Mall. On February 10, 2010 between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

COLLISION ON HIGHWAY 17 NEAR DESBARATS – 3 INJURED (Desbarats, ON.) –Shortly after 8:00 a.m. members of the East Algoma – Thessalon OPP were dispatched to a collision on Highway 17, west of Desbarats, Ontario.

STREET LAMP VANDALIZED (HORNEPAYNE, ON.) – On February 5, 2010 Superior East OPP in Hornepayne received a complaint regarding damage to a street light at the intersection of Second Street and Third Avenue.
