Road Closure Advisory The Ontario Provincial Police advise the public of the following road closure.

OPP ISSUE CAUTION REGARDING ICE CONDITONS (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) – With the arrival of colder temperatures the OPP would like to remind outdoor enthusiasts and children to use extreme caution around local area lakes, streams and rivers.

OPP CAUTION MOTORISTS REGARDING DETERIORATING HIGHWAY CONDITIONS EAST AND NORTH OF SAULT STE. MARIE (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) - Sault Ste. Marie OPP are urging motorists at this time that if you don’t have to travel on local Highways to stay home.

LOCK IT OR LOSE IT (Elliot Lake, Ontario) Police are currently investigating the theft from a vehicle on Friday night, November 14, 2008. Sometime between 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

A WARNING TO ALL DRIVERS – ICY ROADS ARE HERE (Sault Ste Marie) Motorists are advised to exercise caution on the Highways today east and north of Sault Ste Marie.

ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE URGE PARENTS TO WATCH FOR THE “CHOKING GAME” (SAULT STE. MARIE ON.) – It has come to the attention of the Ontario Provincial Police that some kids are playing the choking game. The choking game is anything but a game.

MISSING SOMETHING? (FENWICK TWP., ON) A motorist traveling westbound on Highway 552 Tuesday afternoon spotted a gun case lying on the roadway. Further inspection revealed that there was a shotgun in the gun case.

OPP INVESTGATE SEVERAL COLLISONS (SAULT STE. MARIE, ON) – OPP have been kept busy investigating motor vehicle collisions over the past three days as a result of winter’s arrival.

DRIVER CHARGED FOR FAILING TO STOP FOR SCHOOL BUS (Elliot Lake, Ontario) The East Algoma OPP has charged a local woman after receiving a complaint of a vehicle going through school bus lights.

Cattle Truck Roll Over (Wawa, Ontario) Superior East OPP, Wawa are investigating a motor vehicle collision involving a cattle truck on Highway 17 about 25 kilometers South of Wawa.
