Highway 144 Reduced to One Lane Friday, July 6, 2007 Highway 144 at Elboga Lake, Muldrew Township (40 kilometers North of Cartier, Ontario) is expected to be closed in both directions for a period of 5 hours.

RIDE Sault Ste Marie OPP officers conducted RIDE in two separate locations last night. A total of 83 vehicles were checked resulting in 2 Highway traffic act charges and one roadside test being conducted. No Drinking and driving charges were laid.
